I Love My “I Voted” Sticker — Created By a 5th-Grader!

Do you see my cool “I Voted” sticker?

It was created by a fifth-grader named Annie Morton who attends a Montessori Magnet school. She won the third-annual contest put on by the country legislature, the Albany NAACP, and the League of Women Votes of Albany County.

Wow, Annie — thank you for using your talent and creativity for such a good cause. I love my sticker!

Nipper, tulips, and the Albany skyline. Just awesome.

As for the state of the world?

I haven’t given up hope!

Young people like Annie give us not only optimism for the future, but a reason to fight & resist in the here and now. We’re planting trees so Annie and her friends can sit in the shade.
